‘’Ta da!! This is it, The AMETEK 9933 RM from AMETEK Process Instruments’’

“What is the difference between the AMETEK 9933RM and the AMETEK 933RM analyzers?

Knock knock..

Hi guys ????????,

In accordance with our previous promise to introduce a new product namely 9933 RM from AMETEK Process Instruments. This is the difference between 9933 RM and 933RM analyzer.

There are some differences in size and weight, but the primary differences between the new 9933RM and the existing 933RM sulfur analyzers are:

  • 9933RM can simultaneously measure hydrogen sulfide (H2S), carbonyl sulfide (COS) and methyl mercaptan (MeSH), carbon dioxide (CO2) and hydrogen (H2). The 933RM cannot measure CO2 and H2.
  • The 9933RM comes with a touch screen display, whereas the 933RM has no display. With the 9933RM, users can see component concentrations and analyzer operational status without a computer connection.
  • The 9933RM has ATEX and IECEx Zone 2 and CSA/UL Class I Division 2/Zone 2 hazardous location certifications. The 9933RM also has an ordinary location (general purpose) version.  The 933RM is only designed and suitable for use in ordinary locations (general purpose).
  • The 9933RM management of the UV lamps has demonstrated 1+ year life.
  • The 9933RM can operate in 0 to +50C (+32°F to 122°F) The 933RM is limited to 0 to +40C (+32°F to 104°F) environments.
  • The 9933RM can be powered by 120/240 VAC or 24VDC power sources. The 933RM can only be powered by an AC line source.

  • Certified for use in multiple hazardous locations
  • Direct measure of H2S, no scrubbing
  • Fast measurement response time to changing H2S concentrations
  • Self-recovery after high H2S upsets
  • No consumables, reagents, or disposables
  • Full color, touch screen user interface
  • Remote access to analyzer data’’

  • Natural gas sweetening/Amine contactor
  • Natural gas custody transfer stations
  • Natural gas pipelines
  • Natural gas and hydrogen blending
  • Hydrogen addition
  • Carbon dioxide purity’’

  • Natural gas
  • Refining
  • Chemical and petrochemical
  • Industrial gas’’

‘’Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)’’

‘’What H2S concentrations in natural gas can be measured with the 9933RM analyzer?’’

‘’The H2S standard range is 0-100/0-25ppmV and the low range is 0-50/0-5ppmV for both the 9933RM and the 933RM.  Lower concentration ranges may be available but will require evaluation and may include a price adder.  Contact AMETEK Technical Sales for more information.’’
